🕯 Processing Time
While our processing time generally states 5-7 days most items ship sooner. The 5-7 business days processing time is set because with some of our candles we may only have one or two molds of that item. So depending on where your order falls in line with other orders for the same item it might be days before the mold is freed up for your order. Rest assured with our most popular items we have several molds available 🙂.
🕯 Do you offer a "RUSH" option in case of Emergencies
Yes we do! However, there is a charge for that option. Sometimes upgrading to priority shipping might be all you need, and that is an option as well. If you do need your item "ASAP" the rush option would be the answer. Rush orders usually ship in one to two business days.
🕯 Why don't you allow returns?
All of our items are specialty items "made to order". We don't make any items ahead of time for quick sales. We want your order to be a personal experience, so your candle is made to your specifications and personalized just for you.
Having said that, your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to me. If your candle did not arrive the way you ordered it or arrived damaged, please contact me and I will make it right.
🕯 2 hours is not very long to cancel my order, why not longer?
Good question 🙂. The choices were prefilled by Etsy and I was not able to elaborate. The cancellation time is not set in stone, as long as I have not started your order it can be cancelled within 24 hours.
Sometimes when I am alerted I have a new order I am able to start it right way. If your order has been started you would not be able to cancel it.
🕯 My item was delivered to my old address and is now missing, do you replace it or do I have to repurchase?
The answer to this question is simple, if you forgot to change it on Etsy and did not message me the new address, you would need to repurchase the item.
If the error was mine I would always replace your order or issue a refund at my discretion.
🕯 If my item is lost in the mail do you replace it?
As long as your order is "in transit" and it is before the expected delivery date we do not refund or reship (check the expected delivery date on your receipt).
Most orders will show up eventually that are delayed by the postal service. If your order is lost by USPS and was shipped priority mail it is covered by insurance and you would need to file an insurance claim with USPS. First class mail is NOT covered by insurance, we recommend insured Priority shipping.
If your item was delivered (verified by USPS website tracking number as "delivered") and was taken out of your mail box or off your porch by porch pirates you would have to reorder your item at your expense and take it up with USPS and your police department .
🕯 Unpacking Fragile Candles
Your candles are padded well and packaged securely to avoid breakage. PLEASE unpack your candles very carefully, some have fragile parts.
Open from the top of the box where the label is. Do not tip or turn the box upside down and shake the items out. Hold on to the item securely over the counter as you remove the padding. Sometimes there are several layers of padding around your candle to protect it. If your candle has tape on the padding cut the tape gently, do not tug and pull to rip the tape, you could break the candle. Gently unroll the final layer of tissue paper to expose your beautiful candle!
🕯 What is the line down the side of my candle that looks like a crack.
The line down one or both sides of your new candle are formed from the cuts in the mold to facilitate unmolding of your beautiful candle. Your candle is not damaged.
Some candles can be unmolded without cuts to the mold, most can not. The cuts are put in the molds by the manufacturer and will usually show up to some degree on all candles.
🕯 SAFETY BURNING INSTRUCTIONS
Failure to follow safety instructions could result in fire hazard, injury, or smoke damage.
🕯 Keep wax free of matches, wick trimmings, or other flammable materials.
🕯 Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 in.
🕯 Burn only on stable heat resistant surface and not more than 4 hours at a time.
🕯🕯 Be sure the vessel/plate/bowl you put your candle on to burn it, is large enough to catch all the wax as the hot wax can stain or damage furniture🕯🕯
🕯 Keep out of drafts.
🕯 Discontinue use when only 1/2 in. of wax remains in bottom.
🕯 Do not move candle while burning or if wax is hot.
🕯 Keep out of reach of children and pets.
🕯 Never leave a burning candle unattended.
